Make Your Decision
As you learned in my book, The Baby Dilemma, when making a complex decision it’s best to gather all the information, but not to over analyze it. Then live your life and let your unconscious mind digest what you’ve learned. Once you are not focused on the question then your intuition will be able to guide you.
In the last section of The Baby Dilemma, “Making Your Decision,” I offer to help you tap into your intuition to determine where you are in your decision to have a child. I explain that if you provide me with your e-mail address and a little explanation about your situation, I will send you a thought-provoking question that will hopefully elicit a visceral reaction from you that will give you some guidance in your decision-making process. It’s best to re-address the question of having children when you are distracted and not focused on it.
The question will come to the e-mail address you provide and will be labeled, “The Baby Dilemma Question”.
You can write it up as a little bio if you’d like. For example:
I am a 32-year-old woman who has been dating my boyfriend for 5 years. I graduated with a degree in fashion design and am a buyer for Macy’s. I enjoy my work, but wish I didn’t have to travel as much as I do.
I’m a 20-year-old college student who has been dating my boyfriend for 1 year. I am studying English Lit. and am not quite sure what I want to do once I graduate.
I’m a 37-year-old political analyst who’s been married for 2 years. I have a Masters in International relations and love my job.
I’m a 24-year-old teacher who is not currently in a relationship. I enjoy my job and working with the kids.
